Kayak Races $500 prize for the winner
Start Heats: 9AM
Course: 1/2 mile circle around Monkey Island
Paddlers will race 5 at a time with heat winners going into the final
All contestants will use the provided identical Delta 12.10 model kayaks and identical paddles. |
Dragon Boat Races Cost $400 per team
Start Heats: 11 AM
3 Events, 300 meter sprint, Barrel Race, 2 mile endurance
20 paddlers per team (8 must be female) plus drummer and sweep
Practice sessions available day before race and race morning
IDBF Approved Dragon Boat, Paddles and PFD's will be provided to all participants |
